Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. Who you're dealing with

This website, www.procomsolutions.co.za, is run by Lapanza (trading as Procom Solutions) (“Procom”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a partnership owned and operated by Johan Barkhuizen and Linandi Barkhuizen.

We are not registered for VAT — all prices shown on this website are final prices in South African Rand (ZAR) with no VAT added.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the site or place an order. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent/guardian's permission, to buy from us.

3. Our products

The products on this site are ready-made, branded goods. Most are held by our warehouse partner and shipped to you directly from their warehouse. Because they are ready stock, not made to your order, the standard 7-day cooling-off right for online purchases applies to them — see our Returns Policy.

Product photos and descriptions come largely from the manufacturers and our supplier. We take care to describe products accurately, but photos are illustrative and manufacturers sometimes change packaging or specifications. Some items are sold only in packs of a minimum quantity; where that applies, it is shown on the product page and the price shown is for the pack.

4. Orders, pricing & payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy — we accept it once your payment is confirmed and we confirm your order by email. We accept card payments (including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, SnapScan and Zapper) and, where offered at checkout, Instant EFT through Payfast.

We try hard to keep prices, stock levels and descriptions accurate, but mistakes happen — an item selling out at the warehouse between your click and checkout, or a pricing error on the site. If that happens, we'll contact you before processing anything, and you can accept the correction, choose an alternative, or cancel for a full refund. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for reasons like this, suspected fraud, or an item genuinely being unavailable.

5. Shipping & delivery

We deliver to street addresses within South Africa by courier. The delivery charge depends on the warehouse your items ship from and is shown at checkout before you pay; if your order includes items from more than one warehouse, each ships separately with its own delivery choice and charge. Where a warehouse offers it, you can also collect free of charge (for example from our warehouse in Edenvale, Johannesburg) — choose “Collect” at checkout; the address and hours are shown there and in your order email. Wait for our collection notice email before you go (typically 2–3 business days after payment). Whoever collects must show the collection notice and their ID, driver's licence or passport; anyone holding the collection notice may collect, so please keep it safe. We don't offer PUDO lockers or local delivery. Most orders are dispatched by our warehouse partner within 2–5 business days of payment, and we email your tracking number once your order is on its way. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — courier delays are outside our control.

Some large and heavy items show “delivery quoted after order” at checkout. For these, you pay for the goods only, and we send you a delivery quote by email or WhatsApp once we've confirmed the size and weight with the courier. If you accept the quote, you pay the delivery separately; if you don't, we cancel the order and refund you in full. You can also choose to collect these items free of charge instead.

Risk in the goods (e.g. loss or damage in transit) passes to you once they are delivered to you, you collect them, or they are handed to a courier you arranged yourself; ownership passes to you once we've received payment in full.

6. Cancellations, returns & faulty goods

Full detail — including the 7-day cooling-off right, our defect/damage process, and what's excluded — is in our Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing here or there limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, including the implied warranty that goods will be free of defects for six months from delivery.

7. Intellectual property

Product names, brands and logos belong to their respective owners. Everything else on this website — text, layout, and the Procom Solutions name and branding — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Liability

We're a small, hands-on operation and we take reasonable care with every order. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss (like lost profits or lost time) arising from your use of this website or a product you've bought from us. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or protection you have under the Consumer Protection Act that can't lawfully be excluded.

9. Your information

We collect and use personal information (like your name, address and contact details) to process your order and run this website. How and why is explained fully in our Privacy Policy.

10. Complaints & disputes

If something's gone wrong, please contact us first at procompretoria@gmail.com — most things are quicker to sort out directly. If we can't resolve it between us, you're entitled to refer a consumer complaint to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, or to the National Consumer Commission. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any legal proceedings will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, as our product range or delivery options change. The version in force is whatever's published on this page when you place your order. We'll update the “last updated” date above whenever we make a change.
